Oreo Milkshake – The perfect classic oreo milkshake recipe made with just 3 simple ingredients. So easy to make and delicious!
Oreo Milkshake
I’ll admit, like most people I am a sucker for oreos. Whether they are lemon oreos, golden oreos, or just classic oreos, I will always indulge in them when they are around. One of my favorite ways to use them is to make an oreo milkshake! Now this is one addicting drink! Made with just 3 simple ingredients – oreos, vanilla ice cream, and milk – it tastes just like you are at an ice cream shop!
All you have to do to make this recipe is combine the ingredients in a blender, blend until smooth, and serve. I like serving this recipe with a bit of whipped cream and chocolate sauce on it but it’s totally up to you what you want to do!
Common Questions About Making an Oreo Milkshake
What is an oreo milkshake?
An oreo milkshake is a simple blended drink made with vanilla ice cream, milk, and oreo cookies.
What kind of ice cream should I use?
I usually use my homemade no-churn vanilla bean ice cream but you can use any store-bought french vanilla, vanilla, or vanilla bean.
Can I make this recipe vegan?
Of course! Just use vegan vanilla ice cream (with a base from coconut, soy, almond, etc rather than dairy) and non-dairy milk. Oreos are actually vegan so you could use those or a similar cookie.

There are so many options! Some of my favorite milkshakes include –
- Vanilla Milkshake
- Raspberry Milkshake
- Strawberry Milkshake
- Cake Batter Milkshake
- Banana Milkshake
