Banana milkshakes are so so good! There was a while where that was the only thing I would get when I went to Dairy Queen (which was a regular occurrence) because I loved the flavor that bananas gave to a milkshake. It tasted tropical and delicious! After making a few other milkshakes at home the past few weeks, I knew that a banana milkshake had to be the next one to make.
I love that this recipe is a great way to use up extra bananas that have gone brown. I have a bad habit of forgetting about them until they are so brown that the only thing to do is repurpose them in banana cake or blueberry banana bread but banana milkshakes are another great use, especially if you want to make a drink out of them.
Now this recipe makes about 2 servings but you can totally double it if you are making it for more people. I’ve found that kids love it as is and adults love it with a bit of spiced rum added to it!
