Strawberry Margarita – A beautiful and tasty summer cocktail made with fresh strawberries, lime juice, tequila, triple sec, and simple syrup. A fun spin on a classic margarita!
Strawberry Margarita
I am so excited about strawberry season! After a long winter of bad produce here in the north, I have been patiently waiting to start getting good fruit again. After I saw some gorgeous strawberries at the store the other day, I just knew that it was time to pull out the blender and make a strawberry margarita!
Now to make a strawberry margarita, you need just five main ingredients – strawberries, tequila, lime juice, triple sec, and simple syrup. The simple syrup helps sweeten the drink up without impacting the flavor and you can either make it in about 5 minutes at home by clicking HERE for the recipe or you can buy it at most grocery stores for a few dollars. I like serving these margaritas with a slice of lime on the rim and lining the rim with salt. It makes for such a beautiful and festive drink!
This recipe makes one serving but you can just scale it up if you want to make this recipe for more people.
