Guinness Milkshake – An adult spin on a classic milkshake that’s perfect for St. Patrick’s Day! Made with Guinness beer, vanilla ice cream, and chocolate sauce.
Guinness Milkshake
I love a good milkshake! Whether it’s a strawberry milkshake, oreo milkshake, s’mores milkshake, etc they are all so tasty. Have you ever tried making one with beer though? Now it may sound kind of crazy but trust me, IT WORKS! For this recipe, I used Guinness so it was a nice and dark stout beer that felt like it was made to be combined with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce.
The cool thing about Guinness milkshakes is that you can really make them all year or you can have one on St. Patrick’s Day to celebrate because it’s got some Irish beer in it! I personally don’t care what season it is, I would make these any time of the year.
This recipe is super simple but you can make your own variations on it by using different ice cream flavors. I’ve tried it before with a bit of caramel sauce on top and coffee ice cream in it and it was so tasty.
