White Chocolate Mocha {Starbucks Copycat}
What’s not to love about white chocolate?! I have been trying to give it some more love on this site because I think it is overlooked by so many people when there are some seriously awesome ways to use it in recipes! Whether it’s a white chocolate peppermint martini, white hot chocolate, or a white chocolate mudslide, white chocolate just adds such a yummy flavor! Now for this recipe, I adapted it from my mocha latte recipe just using white chocolate sauce instead and I was so happy with the results. This recipe is a keeper!
Common Questions About Making a White Chocolate Mocha
What is a white chocolate mocha latte made of?
A mocha latte is made of espresso, milk, and white chocolate syrup.
What is the difference between a latte and a white chocolate mocha latte?
This seems to be a common question with a very simple answer – a mocha latte is simply a normal latte (made with espresso and steamed milk) plus a white chocolate syrup in it.
Where can I get white chocolate syrup?
Most grocery stores should carry it in the area by the coffee department with all of the drink/dessert sauces and syrups or you can make it at home in less than 10 minutes with just two ingredients. Click HERE for the recipe.
Can I make a latte without espresso?
Yes, so there are a few different options for ways to get close to espresso. The cheapest option would be to brew quite strong coffee in a normal coffee pot which won’t be exactly the same but it’ll work. If you have a moka pot or an aeropress coffee maker, those will get you pretty close to regular espresso. If you use the moka pot or espresso, follow the same proportions in the recipe but if you choose to go the strongly brewed coffee route, use 3/4 cups coffee and 1/2 cup milk.
