So let me preface this post by saying that slow cooker desserts may not be beautiful in photographs, but they sure do taste amazing! With that, I present to you my first recipe for the delicious week known as #Choctoberfest 2018.

Slow Cooker Chocolate Peanut Butter Bliss Cake is nothing short of a chocolate and peanut butter lovers dream come true! I’ve been looking forward to bringing chocolatey goodness to Snacks and Sips and knew I had to make something that combines two of my favorites.

So back to Slow Cooker Chocolate Peanut Butter Bliss Cake…this is a dessert that’s so perfect and easy! You can easily take this to a potluck or family gathering. Mixing it together takes only 5 minutes, “slow cooking” takes roughly 2 hours, and then you can keep it on the warm setting on your slow cooker for a few hours.

Simple to make and loaded with chocolate and peanut butter, in my book this is heavenly on its own. Of course, you can amp up the yum factor even more with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.

Slow Cooker Chocolate Peanut Butter Bliss Cake is an amazing dessert that feeds a crowd. Loaded with amazing chocolate and peanut butter you’ll love it.

Cook Time 2 hours

Total Time 2 hours 10 minutes

Ingredients

• 1 package Devil's Food Cake Mix
• 1 package Chocolate Instant Pudding Mix
• 2 eggs
• 1 cup milk
• 1/3 cup sour cream
• 10 ounce peanut butter chips
• 1/3 cup peanut butter melted
• 1/4 cup Reese's Pieces chopped
• 1/4 cup Mini Reese's Peanut Butter Cups chopped

Instructions

1. Spray slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray. 
2. In mixing bowl stir together cake mix and pudding. Add in eggs, milk and sour cream. Beat until combined. Stir in peanut butter chips.
3. Spread into the prepared slow cooker.Place lid on slow cooker and cook 2 hours or until edges of the cake are done cooking. Center will be gooey. 
4. Melt peanut butter in microwave safe bowl for approximately 30 seconds. Drizzle over top of cake. Sprinkle with chopped Reese's Pieces & Mini Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. Keep slow cooker on "warm" setting for 2-3 hours.
