Back with another dip that’s perfect for not only game day, tailgating, parties but the entire holiday season. Slow Cooker Four Cheese Queso Dip is pretty much good all year long if you love dips and cheese!
I love slow cooker dips when we have parties. There’s nothing easier than having a slow cooker plugged in and a delicious dip ready for your guests to dig into. Nearly every gathering that happens at our house has some sort of crockpot creation on the countertop.
Slow Cooker Four Cheese Queso Dip combines four kinds of cheese in case you missed that in the title! So right there you know its a winner, right? Be sure to buy a sturdy tortilla chip, you don’t want your chips breaking while digging in.
If you are anything like me you have cabinets full of crockpots for every occasion, big or small. I use a smaller crockpot when I make dips, It is an oval-shaped slow cooker that is more shallow than the mega cookers I use when making a meal.
Some tips for making Slow Cooker Four Cheese Queso Dip:
- I used blocks of white cheddar and pepper jack cheeses and shredded them myself.
- Feel free to use low-fat cream cheese or Neufchâtel.
- Like spicier dishes? Use a can of chopped jalapeñoes.
- No salsa verde? Regular salsa is just fine.

Slow Cooker Four Cheese Queso Dip

Ingredients
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 4 oz white american cheese, cubed
- 4 oz white cheddar cheese, shredded
- 4 oz pepper jack cheese, shredded
- 3/4 cup salsa verde
- 4 oz diced green chilies
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in slow cooker, stir and cover.
- Cook on high setting 2 hours, stirring every 30 minutes.
- If cheese if melted completely place on "warm" setting. If not continue for an additional 30 minutes.
- If dip needs thinning, stir 2-3 tablespoons of milk.
- Garnish with chopped cilantro if desired.
