Hello chocolate lovers, I’m back again with my second post for #Choctoberfest 2018. I do hope you’ve been enjoying all the chocolatey goodness that comes along with this fantastic event.

There’s no sugarcoating the fact that I’m targeting this chocolate dessert to those dealing with sweet and salty cravings that may attack us let’s just say on a monthly basis. I’m not gonna get into details, I think you get where I’m going with this one. And if you are anything like me, sweet and salty never tasted better than when you NEED that magical combo.

The combination of sweet and salty is something that may not appeal to everyone and that’s just fine. But for those who have the occasional craving for a sweet and salty combo…here ya go!

PMS Brownies are not only simple to make, but you can pretty much clean out the pantry and customize these bad boys with whatever you have on hand. The last thing you need is a complicated recipe, this is far from complicated. Pin it for when you need it, and you can thank me later! Enjoy!

Some tips for making PMS Brownies: 

• I used a boxed brownie mix and canned frosting. Feel free to make homemade recipes, no problem.
• Chop up pretzels, peanuts, chocolate candies, and potato chips…if it is sweet or salty give it a try.
• Drizzle with chocolate or caramel topping if desired.

Ingredients

• 1 boxed brownie mix prepared according to package directions
• chocolate frosting
• chocolate candies chopped
• pretzels chopped
• peanuts chopped
• potato chips chopped

Instructions

1. Prepare boxed brownie mix according to package directions.
2. Allow to completely cool. 
3. Spread layer of frosting and top with chopped toppings.
