Pink Passion White Hot Chocolate
The season of all things lovey-dovey has arrived. Wouldn’t you know it, just as soon as Santa hangs up his hat all things red, pink and full of hearts suddenly appear?
I think we all need something sweet and happy to get us through the doldrums of the longest month ever, January. It never fails to amaze me at how slow January drags on after the whirlwind of the holiday season.
Today I’m sharing with you a super easy to prepare beverage: Pink Passion White Hot Chocolate. This is the perfect drink to enjoy on Valentine’s Day or any day you’d like.
Pink Passion White Hot Chocolate is a tasty non-alcoholic warm beverage that will definitely satisfy your sweet tooth. Have I mentioned you only need 3 ingredients to make this yummy drink? Yes, just 3!
I’m sure you’ll find yourself looking for excuses to remake Pink Passion White Hot Chocolate. In fact, I know any cold and blustery day it’ll hit the spot just right. Or a Friday night at home with a good movie, that works too!
PS-My younger kids absolutely love this “fancy” drink. Wow the family and serve them this sweet treat on a Sunday morning alongside pancakes…best mom ever award is coming your way for sure!
Is white chocolate really chocolate?
The short answer is no. The longer answer is still no, but with a little more explanation. White chocolate is basically a mixture of sugar, milk products, vanilla, and cocoa butter. Yes, cocoa butter not cocoa powder. See the difference?
Notes for making Pink Passion White Hot Chocolate:
- You can heat the milk via stovetop or in a microwave-safe measuring cup.
- I used cherry juice from a jar of cherries. You can substitute Grenadine.
- I found white chocolate sauce in the coffee aisle.
- Serve with whipped cream and sprinkles to make an extra fancy treat.
