After making my peppermint simple syrup recipe a few days back, I have been experimenting with all sorts of peppermint cocktails. One of my favorites that I came up with was a fun holiday spin on the classic white russian – a peppermint white russian. This is exactly the same as a white russian but with a bit of peppermint simple syrup.
If you want to jazz up this cocktail, serve it with a candy cane in it or even a drizzle of chocolate sauce (click HERE for my recipe) in the cup or on top. This recipe is for one serving but you can always increase it for more servings if you are having a group over.

Ingredients
- 2 ounces kahlua
- 2 ounces vodka
- 1 ounce heavy cream
- 1 ounce peppermint simple syrup*
Instructions
- Fill a glass with ice. Pour in kahlua, vodka, and peppermint simple syrup. Add the heavy cream on top and serve.
Notes
* Can substitute an equal amount of peppermint simple syrup for peppermint schnapps.
