Moscow Mule Mocktail – A delicious non-alcoholic mocktail with all of your favorite moscow mule flavors! All you need are 6 simple ingredients and just a few minutes.
Moscow Mule Mocktail
As a kid, I loved going to fancy restaurants and getting fun, non-alcoholic drinks. Something about getting a virgin pina colada or virgin daquiri makes you feel like such a big kid. To this day, I still enjoy having fun, non-alcoholic drinks with friends or younger siblings and one of my favorites to serve is a moscow mule mocktail. This non-alcoholic drink is made with just a few simple ingredients and has a bit of a bite from the ginger beer but it tastes so good. I love that it doesn’t taste overly sweet as the lime really helps balance it out.
You can really jazz this recipe up a bit by adding in other fun juices or simple syrups to give it a bit of a different spin. Try experimenting and see what you like best!
Common Questions About Making a Moscow Mule Mocktail
Are moscow mules made with a non-alcoholic ginger beer?
It depends on whether you want to make a non-alcoholic version or an alcoholic version. For this recipe, I call for a non-alcoholic ginger beer (my favorite is Fever Tree) but it is totally up to you and your preference.
Why does a moscow mule need a copper cup?
A copper cup is a great insulator which really retains how cold the drink is. While it is not necessary, it also looks really cool and makes it obvious which drink you are serving.
Why is it called a moscow mule?
The name “moscow mule” comes from the traditional addition of vodka to the alcoholic version and it’s association with Russia.
