Matcha is one of those flavors that you either love or hate. Personally, I think it is one of my favorite flavors and I am always looking for new and exciting ways to use it. With it being january, I feel burnt out with really heavy sweets so I started working on trying to make a lighter drink to spin on which lead me to try making this matcha milkshake. It’s made with matcha powder, coconut milk, ice, and a bit of honey. Trust me, it’s amazing!

Ingredients

  • 1 1/3 cup milk *(see notes)
  • 2 tablespoons matcha powder
  • 1 1/2 cups ice
  • 3 tablespoons honey

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a blender and pulse until creamy and smooth - about 2 minutes.
  2. Divide between two glasses and serve.

* I used coconut milk but any kind of dairy or nondairy milk works.
