Matcha Milkshake
Matcha is one of those flavors that you either love or hate. Personally, I think it is one of my favorite flavors and I am always looking for new and exciting ways to use it. With it being january, I feel burnt out with really heavy sweets so I started working on trying to make a lighter drink to spin on which lead me to try making this matcha milkshake. It’s made with matcha powder, coconut milk, ice, and a bit of honey. Trust me, it’s amazing!

Yes! Try making it with 1/2 milk, 2 tablespoons matcha powder, 1 pint vanilla ice cream, and 3 tablespoons honey instead!

I used coconut milk because I love the flavor with matcha and it’s nice and creamy but any other dairy or nondairy milk will work.

Of course! Substitute in pure maple syrup for the honey and any nondairy milk if you want to make a vegan version.

Ingredients
- 1 1/3 cup milk *(see notes)
- 2 tablespoons matcha powder
- 1 1/2 cups ice
- 3 tablespoons honey
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a blender and pulse until creamy and smooth - about 2 minutes.
- Divide between two glasses and serve.
