Eggnog Latte {Starbucks Copycat}
So we are kinda huge eggnog people! Whether it is our popular Eggnog Amaretto Cocktail or the equally tasty Frosted Chai Spiced Eggnog Cookies, it’s something we love making recipes with during the holiday season!
When I saw that Starbucks had an eggnog latte this year, I knew that I had to figure out how to make it at home. It is super simple and just made with eggnog, coffee, milk, and a sprinkle of nutmeg on top. You need about 5 minutes and it making it at home is SO much cheaper. You can make quite a few for the same price as just one at Starbucks.
Something that is great about the recipe is how flexible it is. It can easily be made vegan by using non-dairy milk and by using a vegan eggnog. Yes, vegan eggnog exists and it is great. There are a few different ones using things such as coconut, soy, or almond. Go try it! Additionally, strongly brewed coffee can work instead of espresso. It’s just up to you depending on what you have available. (I love using THIS eggless eggnog recipe!)
This recipe can also be turned into either an iced latte or a frappuccino. To make it an iced latte, make sure to fully cool off the espresso and the eggnog mixture before serving over ice. To make it a frappuccino, blend with 2 cups vanilla ice cream. Both are delicious options that taste like the holidays in a cup!
