Cherry Limeade {Sonic Copycat}
Whenever I went down south as a kid, I wanted to go get Sonic to get a cherry limeade. Now that I live hundreds of miles from the nearest one, I had to figure out how to make those yummy cherry limeades at home. It turned out easier than I expected with just 5 simple ingredients – lime juice, lemon lime soda, simple syrup, maraschino cherries, and lime slices. It’s a perfectly fizzy drink that is perfect for kids and adults at parties or on hot summer days.
This recipe makes about 8-10 servings but you can always double it if you are making it for more people or half it if you want a smaller batch. I like to serve it in a pitcher with lots of stemless maraschino cherries and lime slices in it for color and garnish.

- 10 ounce jar maraschino cherries
- 2 liters lemon lime soda
- 1 cup fresh lime juice
- 1 cup simple syrup
- 2-3 limes (thinly sliced)
