Blueberry Simple Syrup – Homemade blueberry syrup is perfect to put into all sorts of drinks! Made with just 3 simple ingredients in just a few minutes.
Blueberry Simple Syrup
I love the flavor of blueberries in drinks. One of the easiest ways to add that flavor to cocktails, iced tea, and more is by using blueberry simple syrup! I love the bright pop of color it gets from the blueberries without any food coloring needing to be added. If you want to spice up the flavor of the simple syrup, you can always add in a sprig of mint or 1 tablespoon of lemon juice while the ingredients are boiling but I chose to just keep it simple and just used blueberries in this version.
Now you can make this syrup a bit thicker by adding closer to 1/2 cup water but it’s totally up to you. It varies whether people prefer to have a thicker or a thinner simple syrup, I definitely lean more towards thinner.
